work.shop is a community space for rehearsals, classes, and performances.

history

In 2021, Lisa Yaconelli created work.shop to provide an affordable space for performing artists and the community at large to create, share, and gather. In 2026, Lisa passed the torch to her friend and improviser, Matt House.

For five years Work.Shop on Winston Drive provided space for successful groups such as Flying Squid Comedy and Little Characters Theater Group, as well as a rehearsal and performance space for successful plays, bands, poets,dancers, puppeteers, and comedians. The mission continues at our new location: 147 Fritz Mar Lane, inside Echo Base vinyl record factory.
